About

Danielle Gallacher is an experienced Chief Operating Officer, senior operator and trusted advisor with a career span over 30 years. She has extensive experience in the ECEC Sector leading, stabilising and governing early childhood education and care services across NSW.

Her career spans multi-site operations, service growth and turnaround, regulatory engagement, workforce leadership, financial performance, and supporting providers through acquisition, divestment and transition activity. Danielle has worked directly with Approved Providers, boards, investors and leadership teams, carrying real accountability for people, compliance, reputation and results.

Danielle now operates independently through Early Education Advisory, supporting providers at critical points in their journey. She is often engaged when services are under pressure, leadership capability is stretched, compliance confidence has been shaken, occupancy is declining, or when owners are preparing for acquisition, divestment or post-transaction transition and require experienced operational insight.

Her advisory work is grounded in operational reality. Danielle brings a calm, direct and pragmatic approach, helping providers cut through noise, focus on what matters most, and make confident, well-judged decisions. She supports clients to prepare services for sale or acquisition, understand operational and workforce risks, and ensure continuity, stability and compliance throughout periods of change.

Danielle works discreetly and in partnership with her clients. She does not offer generic solutions. Every engagement is shaped by the specific context, risk profile and goals of the provider, with a focus on building capability, reducing exposure and creating sustainable outcomes over the long term.
